First Cartographic Revolution 第一次制图革命

China's Sui Dynasty has used 100% scale drawings and models for architectural design. The book "Building French Style" in the Song Dynasty, with exquisite architectural plans, elevations, sideways and perspectives, can be said to be the earliest architectural drawing works in China. In the Qing Dynasty, a large number of architectural drawings drawn by the Lei family, which is the style of the palace architectural design, are treasures of ancient Chinese architectural drawings. In 1799, the French mathematician G. Mengri published the book "Drawing Geometry", which laid the theoretical foundation for engineering drawing. Later generations also have "Architectural Shadowing" and "Architectural Perspective". The above three books establish the basic theory of today's architectural drawings.

中国隋代已使用百分之一比例尺的图样和模型进行建筑设计。宋代《营造法式》一书,绘有精致的建筑平面图、立面图、轴侧图和透视图等,可以说是中国最早的建筑制图著作。清代主持宫廷建筑设计的样式雷家族绘制的大量建筑图样,是中国古代建筑制图的珍品。1799年,法国数学家G.蒙日出版《画法几何》一书,奠定了工程制图的理论基础。后人又著有《建筑阴影学》和《建筑透视学》等。上述三本著作确立了现今建筑制图的基本理论。
